The Gap
Golf improvement is a phenomenon built on accuracy, patience, and continuous growth. For too long, meaningful progress has been out of reach for the everyday golfer. Lessons with a professional are expensive. High-end simulators and launch monitors can cost thousands. And while golfers want to get better, most of them don’t know how to improve their swing beyond trial and error. That’s where TruePath began — with a simple mission: to make smarter, data-driven golf improvement accessible to every player who desires it.
I founded TruePath after realizing just how wide the gap had grown between elite-level professionals and the everyday golfer. On the one hand, experts have access to swing analyzers, motion tracking tools, and AI-powered insights that identify even the smallest changes in their form. The everyday golfer, contrarily, might record a few shots with their phone and cross their fingers. With TruePath, I aimed to close that gap by developing a device that is accessible, portable, and user-friendly enough for everyone.

The Sensor
TruePath Smart Sensor is a pocket-sized personal coach, not just a golf device. Our small, clip-on sensor pairs seamlessly with a mobile app that provides instant, personalized feedback on your swing. Using advanced motion sensors and artificial intelligence, TruePath translates your movement into clear, valuable data so you are able to improve anytime, anywhere. From the beginning, we created TruePath to accommodate all golfer levels and ages. Whether you’re a weekend player looking to lower your handicap, a student picking up the game for the first time, or someone practicing at the driving range after work, TruePath gives you the metrics to track your progress and see real results. Our objective is to make golf improvement enjoyable, motivating, and achievable, not only to help you get better at swinging.
I spent time interacting with players of all skill levels at nearby driving ranges when I first started exploring the idea. The feedback I received was unanimous, but not surprising. Golfers explained that much of the emerging golf technology was both intimidating and expensive. Many had searched for apps or devices before but found them too complex, unreliable, or costly. Our value proposition was centered around that realization. TruePath needed to be easy to use right off the bat and accurate enough to produce measurable results. TruePath is unique not only because of its technology, but also because of its foundational philosophy. We think a high budget shouldn’t be necessary for improved golf. Without the premium cost, our solution provides premium feedback.
Looking Ahead
As the founder of TruePath, this entrepreneurial path has been about more than creating a product. I want to build golfers’ confidence all across the nation, while simultaneously not hurting their pockets. Watching golfers test TruePath for the first time and realize they can actually see their improvement is the most rewarding part of the process. It validates our vision and fuels the next step of innovation.
Looking ahead, we plan to expand TruePath’s reach by integrating social features and training challenges, allowing users to connect, compete, and celebrate progress together. Since golf has always been a community-driven sport, we want TruePath to reflect exactly that. At the end of the day, golf is about finding your own rhythm and drive. With TruePath, we’re helping players everywhere discover their own unique path.
